What is hemp? What is CBD?

Hemp is a subspecies of cannabis that has minimal amounts THC and high proportions CBD. Hemp-derived retail products are NON-PSYCHOACTIVE. CBD is the most prevalent endocannabinoid compound in hemp, widely known and used for its calming properties. This compound is highly compatible with the endocannabinoid system in our body. This system is responsible for regulating immune responses, sleep, mood, anxiety, pain, appetite and digestion, skin and nerve function.

Hemp is multifaceted in use as it can be used medicinally, for textiles, animal feed, and as building materials.
